They are found in Tibet, areas of Central Asia and some areas of South East Asia. Many People nowadays call them dZi stones, but this is the modern and inaccurate Western spelling of their real name gZi.

gZi bead stone have always been considered to be very spiritually powerful, and have been worn as protective amulets - often being passed on across generations - for millenia. gZI beads are also called stones descending from the sky and they are shaped like eyes. These beads have powerful spiritual properties and are very suitable for wearing as a prayer beads. They can usually be worn on the neck or wrist as a pendant.
